We started PawHaven in 2019 after years of searching for pet products that did not look like pet products. Our founder, Elena Vasquez, was a product designer at Patagonia who wanted the same standards — thoughtful materials, honest construction, and timeless design — applied to the things her Bernese Mountain Dog, Hazel, used every day.

Our approach

We obsess over the details most brands skip: the stitch on a leash, the foam density of a bed, the glaze on a bowl. Every product is reviewed by our veterinary council for safety and wellbeing, and every material is chosen to last for years, not months.
